David Bowie the chameleon:

David Robert Jones, known as David Bowie was a song writter, singer and performer. Started his career in the early 70, and finished it a couple of days before his death. In the beginning a rock star, in the middle an experimental musician and his greatest days a pop star too. David Bowie experienced every style of pop music at it's fullest. Having more than 20 studio records, the range of styles he performed, until his very last moments, is pretty large. Bending gender roles with his performance as Ziggy Stardust (A glam rock character), and bending race stereotipes as the Thin White Duke (Another character who sang soul), his love for doing music, made me love music as much as I think he did. Not only a musician, a fashionist too, having several styles across the years, he inspired many designers to create new forms couture with his crazy characters.

I met Bowie back in 2012, when I met a girl. She became my girlfriend, and we both came from differnt world. I was a nerdy guy in a semi-private school, and she came from the art school. She showed me art, she showed how to not be afraid of your creative ideas, or to think a litte more abstractly. The first artist she showed me was Bowie, and i fell in love with him inmedeatly. And i still do love him, I still do love to hear his records, and i don't regret the tattoo that i made to remind him forever in my lef elbow.

Japan, beautiful and polite

Land of the rising sun, Japan is often seen as a weird place to go. Personally I like that weirdness. Japan is a pretty crowded place, with 126 million people living in 377.915 square kilometers, you don't have to be an etnographist to realize that the density of this archipelago is one of the highest in the world.

Their language (Japanese), consists of 3 different types of ideographs: Hiragana, Kanji and Katakana. Japanese people don't write with single letters, they write on syllables wich makes difficult for them to understand romance languages (mostly ending in funny mispronuntiations).

If i ever go to Japan, i would visit Tokyo and its many districts, to buy books, comics, and clothes. I've always admired the japanese fashion, it's very cute and colorful, but at the same time sober and minimalist.

One of my dreams is buying a little apartment in Japan. Live there a happy quiet life, purchase a Shiba Inu (a japanese typical dog breed)  and work as a journalist for the NHK (Japanese National Network).

The best concert i've had:

It happened 2 years ago. On the spring of 2015. A music festival that has been going on for a while once every year called "Primavera Fauna". I remember the line-up of this one was particulary cool, at least for me. Mac Demarco, Wild Nothing, Morrissey, The Cardigans, amongst others. Needless to say i was really pumped.

I remember that at that particular time I didn't had any money so my brother lent my some so I could go with him (because he was going to that festival too). The day of the concert we took a bus to the festival, it was very far from Santiago in Espacio Broadway. The sun hit us hard when we arrived, it was a hot and shiny day. Everyone there were happy although the drinks were a little too expensive. The magic started when my brother and I took a little something to spice things up. Everything was soft and the sound of different artist performing live wrapped us like a soft cool sheet on summer.

The peak of thrill was Mac Demarco performing. A Canadian indie (self proclaimed jizz-jazz artist) rock singer. As i enjoyed the colours of the sunset, he sang all of his hits, with a soft and raspy voice. The crowd went wild, so he went wild too and jump the stage as we catched him while his band was jamming. After the whole experience i was soaked in sweat, feeling like a wet noodle. It was the best experience I ever had, so I kept the memories of that day warmly in my heart until today.
